Remote High Court hearing to vary or set aside committal order

Dr Anton van Dellen represented the Russian Applicant who was applying to vary or set aside a committal order.  The hearing was conducted remotely before Cockerill J.  The Applicant had been sentenced to 18 months imprisonment in 2013 for the sale of a yacht in breach of a freezing order.  The submissions included that the Respondent Russian Bank had failed to use the Hague Convention for alternative service in Russia.
