Interesting judgment about remote hearings by John Kimbell QC (sitting as a Deputy High Court Judge) in Re Blackfriars Ltd [2020] EWHC 845 (Ch). The message is that as many hearings as possible should continue and they should do so remotely as long as that can be done safely. The presumption is that hearings should be conducted remotely, as opposed to adjournment. There is scope to run a fairness argument if there is not equality of arms.
