The Civil Procedures Rules have a new Part 81 for contempt of court.

The new rules streamline the different types of contempt into one process for applying for contempt of court.  Permission is still required for certain types of contempt.  The law around affidavits and personal service remains largely unchanged.  Applicants still need to consider whether the County Court or the High Court is the right jurisdiction in which to bring their application.  Dr Anton van Dellen has extensive experience in contempt of court proceedings.
