Dr Anton van Dellen is representing the father of Corrie McKeague and other members of the McKeague family.
The inquest has begun before HM Senior Coroner for Suffolk, is being held with a jury and is expected to last up to four weeks. Corrie was 23 when he vanished after a night out in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on 24 September 2016.
