Dr Anton van Dellen joined Dr Kathryn Newns of Applied Psychology Solutions to present a webinar on condition and prognosis, hosted by Simon Berney-Edwards, the Chief Executive of the Expert Witness Institute (EWI).
The webinar covered ways in which psychology and psychiatry experts could improve their condition and prognosis reports. The webinar discussed the role of psychometrics, secondary psychiatric harm and DSM 5 diagnostic criteria, as well as how the Court determines the level of quantum using Judicial College guidelines and case law. Anton has previous instructed Dr Newns as an expert witness for clients with psychological injuries.
